protecting property from the risk of water damage

In 1999, Martin Dalton – Inventor of the Surestop – Launched the product.

It was decided in 2007, when Alan Vurlan joined surestop® as Managing Director, that a 0 bar operation valve was required to ensure that the water switch could be categorised by WRAS as a stopcock.

In 2008, a modern mini switch was introduced to replace the larger switch.

The company embarked on a half a million pound redevelopment of the product, and in 2010 the new stopcock range was patented and launched.

In 2012, the Platinum Installer programme was introduced.

In 2013 a new surestop® range was developed that enables house builders and renovators to fit the product within minutes to the MDPE pipe used in new build projects.
